Kilmington Play Park will be temporarily closed from Monday 5th October due to installation of the new equipment. We will let you know as soon as it re-opens.
The Village Harvest Supper will be held on Monday, 5th October at 6.00 pm to cater for young families. It will be a fun occasion with complimentary cider or apple juice (BYO if you wish) and a supper of bangers and mash, apple pie, cheese with harvest loaf and coffee or tea. The raffle of harvest produce will take place during coffee and the judging of the runner beans sown at Rogation will follow; the judges will be looking for the longest runner beans, no matter how old. The entertainment afterwards will be provided by the Merry Monks from Lyme Regis. Please remember that this is a Village event at which young and old, Church attendees or not, are all welcome. Tickets are on sale at Hurfords Stores and from the Churchwardens at £6 for adults, under 12 free. Please book early for this popular event.
Please feel welcome to borrow books or CD's from the Phone Box library. Donations of the above in good condition welcome. We hope this new use of the telephone box will prove a popular asset for the village.
