The Badminton Club has been active in the village for at least 25 years.  For the last 3 years it has been run by Linda Perrott.

There are two 12 week sessions a year, one between January and the end of March and the second between September and November.  The Club currently has the maximum amount of members at 12/13 players.  There is one court.

Players should have their own equipment although loan of raquets can be arranged.

Kilmington’s Little Helpers                                       Back to Top

Kilmington’s Little Helpers was started by Sally Huscroft 4 years ago after a suggestion made by Brian Lavender.  Its aim is to help with those little tasks that are now rather more difficult for you to do by yourself.  These tasks could be anything from changing a light bulb, lifting heavy items or hanging curtains. Little Helpers don’t undertake lengthy tasks like painting and decorating but will help with awkward small tasks that require a certain skill or strength.

The service is free.  Volunteers currently number around 10 but we are always looking for more people.  If you think you can be a helper please contact Sally Huscroft on 32243.  And if you NEED a helper to come to your aid for this sort of task contact Sally.

The Scabble Club has been established for a few years.  It numbers around 12-16 players.  Everyone is welcome to join.

The Table Tennis Club in Kilmington has been running for around 10 years.  It averages 30 members, balls and bats (if required) are provided.  There are 3 tables.

Any interested in joining the club, please attend a session at the Hall.  Please note:  only trainers and soft sole shoes to be worn please.
