Kilmington Celebrates the

Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

 

In 2012, Her Majesty The Queen will become only the second Monarch in British history to celebrate sixty years on the throne, the previous Monarch to achieve this was Queen Victoria.

 

Celebrations will be held around the country and will centre around an extended weekend of

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June 2012 (Saturday to Tuesday).

How should Kilmington join in with these celebrations?

“Official” suggestions include a Big Lunch on Sunday 3rd June and Lighting a Beacon on 4th June.  But how would you like to celebrate this wonderful achievement and event.

in the Village Hall

to hear what is being proposed and to make you own suggestions.  We would like to hear you views

and would like representatives from every Village organisation and business to attend.
