Suspicious activity in rural areas is continuing throughout Mid, East and North Devon. Thefts of fuel, vehicles especially quad bikes, and tools or equipment are being reported. Here are some basic precautions to prevent becoming a victim. Keys should always be removed from vehicles when unattended and secured inside your property out of sight. Garden sheds outbuildings should be secured with good quality locks. Tools etc should be marked so that if stolen and recovered you can identify them.
