The Kilmington Village Produce Association has a programme of events throughout the year. This consists of presentations, visits, a yearly plant market and, in the summer, an annual show, which covers vegetables, flowers, preserves & cookery, art & photography, wine & beer making and handicrafts.
The presentations are usually the second Friday in the month and, on the 2010 programme you can see the range of subjects covered. This will give you an idea of what takes place throughout the year within the Association.
The plant market is scheduled for Saturday 15th May, when a good selection of plants, grown by Association members, will be sold for very competitive prices.  This helps our funds and supports our other activities.
This year we have six visits arranged. These are usually very well supported and the Association members have an enjoyable time, weather permitting of course.
Finally, the Summer Show on 31st July:  this is the main event of the Association for the year.  Every effort is made by the Committee to make this a memorable day and the marquee, which is used to house the exhibits, is always a blaze of colour. We have a full afternoon of fun and activities, in which the whole village participates.
