ROYAL BRITISH LEGION (KILMINGTON BRANCH) ANNUAL LECTURE
Major Giles Timms, who was recently decorated with the Military Cross by Her Majesty the Queen for his services in Afghanistan with the 3rd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment, will give the Annual Lecture in the Village Hall on Friday 26th October at 7.30 pm. In view of the topical nature of British military operations in Afghanistan, the Branch Committee has decided to open this lecture to anyone who wishes to attend. Entrance will be free, but donations for the Poppy Appeal will be warmly welcomed in the Admiral's Jug at the back of the hall. Refreshments will be available in the interval with the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.
