The Southern Branch of the National Vegetable Society is holding the Southern Branch N.V.S. judges seminar and exam at the Village Hall, Kilmington on Saturday 22nd September 2007 and 6th October 2007.  The seminar will start at 14.00 hours on the 22nd and will last for 2½ to 3 hours, all are welcome.
The judges exam will be in the morning and the afternoon of the 6th and will be finished by approximately 16.00 hours.  The hall will then be open to you and your fellow growers to compare your knowledge of judging vegetables with the national standard.
What to do and what would be expected of you will be explained at the seminar.  I do not need to know numbers attending the seminar but do wish to know numbers attending the exam for printing of exam papers etc.   To meet the cost of the hall, the entry fee will be £2.00 per day.  As you realise, we cannot have 50 taking the exam at the same time so times will be staggered between 16.00 and 19.00 hours.
If you have any queries or want to know more, please ring me on 01297 34100.
