Following extensive local consultation, The Kilmington Neighbourhood Plan received overwhelming support and has been formally ‘made’ by East Devon District Council. This means it will carry its ‘full weight’ in the consideration of planning applications in the parish until 2031. The document seeks to ensure the parish retains its ‘unique and intimate character’ whilst ‘allowing limited incremental development to meet the needs of local people’.
The village allotments are located off George Lane, also accessable via Newtons Orchard. The present rent for a full plot is £12 per year. At present there are no allotments available but if you'd like to register your interest with Nicky Bayley and Kieran Veberth you can be put onto a waiting list.
